Many Newsvine members abuse the scope of moderation by deleting and collapsing comments.

Some delete comments if they don't coincide with their ideals over stepping the bounds of moderation violating the Code of Honor. Others delete comments if the reply shows fault in their articles or posted statements.  This behavior exposes their immaturity and insecurities. It also exposes their inability to communicate in discussions as an adult.  It is a form of suppression. Newsvine is an open forum, so if you are going to publish an article and/or post comments you should be capable of discussing your article or comments with others in a responsible manner. If you cannot deal with criticism then don't leave comments or publish articles.
